The NASCAR Hall of Fame Foundation's mission is to provide economically challenged students (pre-K through 12th grade) access to learning opportunities that harness our sport's longstanding tradition of winning through innovation. We work to ensure those students have a competitive edge that best equips them for life and drives their future success. It is estimated that there are more than 40,000,000 people living in poverty in the United States, many of them are at-risk children. Research demonstrates that broad access to education opportunities removes barriers to workforce skills and economic success. There are nearly 140,000 economically challenged children in our seven-county N.C. Metropolitan Statistical Area. Most do not have the means to enjoy an education field trip to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Our education workshops are providing students insights into skills and jobs that define and promote workforce pipeline fulfillment. Every $20 donation will bring a student into the NASCAR Hall of Fame for an education learning experience.
